Brief introduction
Vibrating wire sensor is a kind of non-electrical measurement sensor that is widely valued and used at home and abroad. It consists of a heat-treated vibrating wire detection element, which is composed of a spring with one end connected to the vibrating wire and the other end connected to a sliding rod to eliminate stress. As the sliding rod pulls, the spring begins to stretch and causes the tension of the vibrating wire to increase. The vibration frequency of the steel wire also changes accordingly, and the tension is proportional to the elongation of the spring. Therefore, the change of displacement can be realized by measuring the tension of the steel string, that is, the change of the vibration frequency of the steel string.
Because the vibrating wire sensor directly outputs the natural frequency signal of the vibrating wire, it has the characteristics of strong anti-interference ability, small influence of electric parameters, small zero point drift, small temperature influence, stable and reliable performance, vibration resistance, and long life.
Application
Vibrating wire displacement sensors are widely used in the displacement, settlement, deformation, cracks, etc. of structural objects in dams, bridges, rocks, concrete, soil, roads, workshops, tunnels, underground caverns and model tests, etc., for long-term relative Displacement change monitoring.

Caution
- The instrument should work within the rated measurement range.
- Try to keep the cable away from electrical interference such as engine, transformer, spot welder, power cable, motor engine, etc. When installing cables. The cable must not be buried in the ground or transmitted together with the AC power cord! Otherwise, the cable will induce electrical interference signals of other frequencies, then cause unstable reading of the instrument.
- When connecting a long cable according to site needs, please make sure the connection joint is sealed highly.
- Care should be taken during the handling and installation of the instrument and avoid violent vibration. Avoid any mechanical damage or deformation of the instrument or parts, and focus on protecting the sensor, measuring rod and its connection port from damage and deformation.
- The lead-out cable of the instrument can reach 1000 meters (purchase separately). The user does not specify when placing an order, and the wires are at a length of 2 meters as default.
