1. Introduction of MTS intrinsically safe/explosion-proof magnetostrictive displacement/liquid level sensor
The principle of the MTS intrinsically safe/explosion-proof magnetostrictive displacement/liquid level sensor is to generate a strain pulse signal when two different magnetic fields intersect, and then calculate the time period required for the signal to be detected, so as to get the exact position. One comes from a permanent magnet in the ring, and the other from an excitation pulse generated by an electronic component in the sensor's electronics compartment. The excitation pulse travels at the speed of sound along the waveguide wire made of magnetostrictive material in the sensor. When intersecting with the permanent magnetic field in the magnetic ring, the mechanical vibration generated by the waveguide wire forms a strain pulse due to the magnetostriction phenomenon. The strain pulse is quickly detected by the sensing circuit in the electron compartment. From the moment the excitation pulse is generated to the time the strain pulse is detected multiplied by a fixed speed of sound, we can accurately calculate the change in the position of the magnet. The process is continuous, so each time the ring changes position, the new position is quickly measured. Since the output signal is a real value, rather than a proportional or reamplified signal, there is no case of signal drift or value change, let alone the need for periodic re-marking like other sensors. 3.MTS primary safety/explosion-proof magnetostrictive displacement/liquid level sensor
Before wiring, please check whether the power supply meets the requirements of +24VDC, and the power output of the power supply must be greater than the total power consumption of the product. Each sensor in different ranges is ≤95mA. If the power supply cannot meet the requirements, please replace the power supply to ensure that the sensor can work properly.

3.1 Direct outgoing wiring of waterproof joint:
The sensor has five contacts: the power supply is positive (brown), the power supply is negative (black), the signal output is positive (blue), the signal output is negative (white), and the housing ground (shielding line).
3.2 Wiring method of aviation plug:
The sensor has a total of five contact points: power positive (brown), power negative (black), signal output positive (blue), signal output negative (white), shell ground (shielding line)
3.3 Wiring method of hersman plug:
The sensor has four contacts: (1) positive power (brown), (2) positive signal output (blue), (3) negative power (black, white)
