1.Summary In the ferromagnetic material in the direction of magnetization can cause the change of medium lattice spacing change, which makes the ferromagnetic length and volume change, namely: magnetostrictive phenomenon, also known as the Wiedemann effect, the reverse effect is called the Villari effect. The principle of the magnetostrictive sensor is the use of two different magnetic field at the intersection of a strain pulse signal, and then calculate the signal detected by the time period required to calculate the exact location. The two one from the magnetic field of permanent magnet excitation pulse generating another from the sensor electronic warehouse in electronic components. The exciting pulse is made of a magnetostrictive material made of a magnetostrictive material. When the intersection of permanent magnetic field and the magnetic ring, due to the magnetostrictive phenomenon, mechanical vibration generated by the waveguide wire to form a strain pulse. The strain pulse is quickly detected by the sensing circuit in the electronic cabin. From the excitation pulse generated a moment to strain pulse detected by the total time multiplied by the fixed velocity, we can accurately calculate the position change of the magnet. This process is continuous, so when the position of the magnetic loop is changed, the new location will be rapidly measured. The output signal is the absolute value of the real, rather than the proportion or need to signal amplification processing, so there is no signal drift or variable values, not like other sensors that require regular re calibration. Magnetostrictive sensor for non-contact, never wear. Has the advantages of high resolution, high precision, high stability, high reliability, fast response time, long service life etc.. Sensors do not have to be re calibrated, do not have regular maintenance.

3.Installation Dimension

4.Sensor wiring precautions 


4.1.1Shield cable sensor must avoid the power supply, the RF signal source and other noise transmission lines.
4.1.2 Users in the terminal before, please check whether the power supply to meet the +24VDC requirements, and the output of the power supply must be greater than the total power consumption of products, calculation of each sensor according to the different range of less than 95mA. If the power supply does not meet the requirements, replace the power supply to ensure that the sensor can work properly.
4.2 Analog signal output connection:
4.2.1 Waterproof joint straight outlet wiring: The sensor consists of five points: the power is (brown), negative power (black), the output signal is output signal (blue) and negative (white), shell (shield).
4.2.2 Air plug connection mode: The sensor consists of five points: 1. The power is (brown), power (black), the negative output signal is the output signal (blue) and negative (white), shell (shield) Specific wiring as shown in figure:

4.2.3 Hessman plug connection mode: The sensor consists of four points: 1. 5. Adjustment 

The sensor in the factory has been in accordance with the full range of zero and full adjustment. Due to the long-term stability of the sensor is very good, do not need to adjust the whole use cycle. Thus, in order to improve the reliability, the sensor does not leave a port for adjustment. Please select the parameter calibration of the two meter measurement. If the user needs to reset the zero and full, please contact our company.
